My Personal Feelings on Alex - Elimination Video Part 2

I’ve read a ton of blog posts on Alex and quite frankly, most of them were entirely incorrect.

The reoccurring theme is “Alex didn’t open a set and therefore he didn’t deserve t o learn anything”.

That’s absolute BS, on the first season, Kosmo, who ended up winning the show, didn’t open a single set either. We had NO TRAINING at all whatsoever going into the club so. It’s hard enough as is talking to girls in a normal environment for most guys, so here we have a bunch of socially awkward guys, that have the knowledge of themselves being filmed on national television. It becomes quite nerve wracking. We had just gotten on the show and right there right then, we were being thrown into the lions den.

Bottom line, Alex is a very well intentioned guy, he wanted to learn pick up as much as the rest of us and unfortunately he was denied that privilege. I don’t mean to exclude my feelings here, but it’s very hard for someone that hasn’t actually been in his shoes to actually know what he and the rest of us were feeling while we were filming the show. I remember the first night, I remember my hands shaking and trembling after opening a few sets. The fear is real, and unfortunately, it was out of our control the first night.

Here is the remaining portion of the interview, Alex really digs deep and lets you know how he REALLY felt now that he's off set.

Dude, you're missing the point. Alex is gay. It's got nothing to do with him not opening a set. Obviously Mystery can't say, "I'm kicking you off because you're a closeted homosexual." Alex is like the Clay Aiken of reality tv.

I think Hammer hit the nail on the head here (pun intended). It is extremely rare for someone with Alex's effeminate mannerisms not to be gay. Alex himself may not want to acknowledge it yet, but in all likelihood he is gay, and by the time he's 30 or so he will know it too.

As a personal example, I once knew a guy like this in high school, and he bedded many women in his 20's, but in his 30's realized he was gay and now lives that lifestyle.

I don't mention this to criticize Alex or put down homosexuality, I only offer it as further explanation to Hammer's comment and why Mystery likely booted him from the show.
